Project Overview
A practical bathroom refresh in a lakefront Anderson, SC home — not a full gut remodel — that updated the vanity area with modern cabinet and countertop finishes, swapped in new sink/faucet hardware, refreshed mirrors and vanity lighting, and improved the tub/shower wall finish with black hardware accents for a clean, modern look that fits a lake-house aesthetic.
The Challenge
Sandra's lakefront Anderson bathroom was functional but visibly dated — original vanity finish, old mirror, dated lighting, and a tub/shower surround that didn't match the rest of the lake-house's updated direction. She wanted a real transformation without the cost and timeline of a full gut remodel.
Our Solution
We updated the vanity area with a modern cabinet and countertop appearance, installed updated sink/faucet finishes and coordinated bathroom hardware, refreshed mirrors and vanity lighting, and improved the shower/tub wall finish with coordinating fixtures. Modern black hardware accents tie the room together in a neutral palette — proof that smaller scope updates can still create a strong before-and-after when the design choices are intentional.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of project is this?
A bathroom refresh — partial remodel scope rather than a full gut. We touch finishes, hardware, lighting, mirrors, and the tub/shower walls without moving plumbing or framing. It's the right call when the bones of the bathroom are fine but the look is dated.
Why include a refresh on your portfolio?
Because smaller updates can still deliver a strong before-and-after, and not every customer needs (or can budget for) a full remodel. We want homeowners to know we'll quote the right-sized project, not always push the largest scope.
What does a typical bathroom refresh cost?
Bathroom refresh projects typically run a fraction of a full remodel — the exact range depends on the vanity, hardware, lighting, and whether the tub/shower walls are updated or replaced. We quote refresh scopes honestly so you can decide if the refresh hits your goals or if a full remodel makes more sense.
