A behind-the-scenes look at a high-end custom home we built in Chesnee, South Carolina, captured during the finish phase. These on-site progress clips show the craftsmanship going into the great-room fireplace feature wall, an open-concept chef's kitchen, a dedicated butler's pantry, and custom built-ins with integrated lighting throughout.
The Challenge
The homeowners wanted a modern, light-filled custom home built around a series of high-impact focal points — a floor-to-ceiling marble-look fireplace wall, a chef's kitchen built for entertaining, a working butler's pantry, and custom millwork with integrated lighting — all executed to a luxury finish standard while keeping a detail-heavy finish phase on schedule.
Our Solution
We managed and self-performed the finish package so every focal wall lined up cleanly. Each was framed, blocked, and pre-wired before finishes went on: large-format marble-look porcelain slab on the fireplace surround with a built-in niche and a linear gas fireplace, custom cabinetry and floating shelves in the kitchen and pantry, a marble herringbone backsplash, quartz countertops, and built-in shelving wired for warm, low-profile LED lighting.
